Home About Us Our Range Our Products Healthy Lifestyle Recipes Contact Us INGREDIENTS Serves: 4 – 6 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 6 – 10 minutes Base: 1 x 400 g tin Glenryck Pilchards in tomato sauce 1 onion, grated 1 teaspoon (5ml) parsley, chopped 1 teaspoon (5ml) curry powder ½ cup (125ml) oats ½ cup (125 ml) fresh breadcrumbs Topping: 1 egg Flour to shape 1 tablespoon (15ml) oil 6 hamburger Rolls Lettuce, tomato, onion Mash the pilchards in the sauce. Combine pilchards, onion, parsley, curry powder, oats, breadcrumbs and egg. Mix until well combined. Shape into 6 large burgers using a little flour on your hands as needed. Heat oil and quickly fry the burgers. Approximately 2 – 3 minutes on each side. Serve on the rolls with tomato, onion and lettuce.
