Home About Us Our Range Our Products Healthy Lifestyle Recipes Contact Us INGREDIENTS Serves: 4 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes 1 x 400g tin Glenryck Pilchards in tomato sauce ½ cup (125ml) milk 2 eggs 1 ½ cups (375ml) self-raising flour 500g frozen chips Oil for frying Sweet chilli or tomato sauce to serve Flake the pilchards and place in a bowl with the sauce. Beat milk and eggs together and add to pilchards. Add flour and mix well. Spoon dessert spoonful’s of the mixture into hot oil and fry until done. Drain on paper towel. Fry or oven bake the chips. Serve the fritters and chips in a snack basket with sweet chiil lor tomato sauce for dipping. Tip: serve with wedges of lemon.
