Home About Us Our Range Our Products Healthy Lifestyle Recipes Contact Us INGREDIENTS Serves: 4 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 5 – 8 minutes Base: 1 x 400g Glenryck Pilchards in tomato sauce 1 x 410g tin of peas 2 Eggs 5 ml fish Spice 1 cup (250ml) self-raising flour Oil for frying TO ASSEMBLE: Whole Wheat buns Sliced tomato, onion and lettuce Flake the pilchards in the tomato sauce. Drain the peas and mash. Beat the eggs together. Mix the pilchards, peas, eggs and fish spice and then stir in the flour. Spoon tablespoonful’s of the fish mixture into shallow moderately hot oil and flatten slightly. Fry on both sides until nicely browned. Drain on paper towels and serve on hamburger buns with tomato lettuce and onion. Tip: You can serve the patties with mashed potato or rice instead of burger rolls.
