Combine all the dry ingredients and rub in the butter or margarine. Add milk/
water and mix to form a soft dough. Press the dough into a greased round tray
approximately 30 cm in diameter.
Take the pilchards from the tin, separating the sauce. Spread the sauce over the
pizza base using the back of a spoon. Roughly break the pilchards and arrange them
on top with the green pepper and onions. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 200oC for 15- 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the base is
